Facial Radiance Pads, Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream, Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser, Pure Skin Face Cleanser
Skincare products are something which I have been enjoying using at the moment, particularly as I have found my combination normal/dry skin going through an annoyingly oily/blemish prone phase. Now I'm no expert when it comes to skincare, I very much used to be the kind of girl who would suffice with a splash of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, a pump of moisturiser, and be done with it (let's not talk about that part of my life).

My blemish prone skin, as I read on skincare goddess Caroline Hirons' blog, would benefit from incorporating acid toning into my routine - something which I was originally afraid of due to my sensitive skin. Cue First Aid Beauty, an American skincare brand which offer hypoallergenic products, free from alcohol and parabens, and at a reasonable cost.

I decided to purchase and try out four products from the range: Pure Skin Face Cleanser, Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser, Facial Radiance Pads, and Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream. I have to say - what a difference I have noticed in my skin!

Facial Radiance Pads: for exfoliating, toning and brightening. This is an acid toner in a cotton pad form, one pot provides 60 pads soaked in Lactic and Glycloric acids, which are great for plumping and hydrating the skin. Despite being an acid toner, these are very gentle. They don't sting much at all, and so are a great starting point for people who are worried about acid toning on sensitive skin. I sweep one of these across my face after cleansing both morning and night, and have found my skin much more brighter, even, and less blemish prone - and they are so easy to use! These pads are my favourite from the range so far, and I will definitely be repurchasing these.

Pure Skin Face Cleanser: removing surface oils and makeup. This is a very creamy, light cleanser, infused with botanical antioxidants. I find this is perfect for a morning cleanse, to remove any dirt & grime. It leaves my face feeling fresh, soft and moisturized, and there is no tight skin feeling which I hate!

Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser: removing excess oils and purifying the skin. This red clay mask is something I like to use in the evening for a deeper cleanse. Its botanical antioxidants and Rosemary Leaf Oil removes makeup whilst decreasing the skin's sebum production, leaving the skin less oily. The only minor qualm I have with this is the packaging - which tends to dispense the product too fast and spillage can occur. But for removing excess oils, makeup and for balancing the skin - this has been my go-to evening cleanser.

Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream: my skin absolutely drinks this! This is a perfect cream to apply after cleansing and toning, both day and night. The glycerin and squalane properties leave my skin feeling smooth, soft and moisturized, and it absorbs so quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy residue. It's oil free formula means it's great for all skin types. It doesn't smell as nice as other face cream's I have used, but this is because of its hypoallergenic fragrance-free properties.

These are currently available in the UK for a discounted price on Beauty Bay and Feel Unique, and I will definitely be taking advantage of the offers to try out more from the range!

Which FAB products have you been loving, or are wanting to try out?
